Going up high elevations really scare me. I often watch TV and see that terrible accidents happen whenever someone falls from heights. I usually play safe and just stay down while my friends go up climbing trees for fun. Since they noticed that I never really come with them, they always forced me to go up with them but I always declined. I do not want to risk my safety just so I can climb a tree.

On my birthday, they gave me a gift that I can use. When I opened my gift, I was surprised to see that they had given me a tree climbing harness. They knew that nothing will convince me to go up a tree. This is why they gave me a safety equipment to make sure that I will have no more excuse. True enough, I felt more confident about climbing with this harness on. I try to go with them from time to time but with this safety equipment on. The harness makes me feel more secure especially when wrapped around my body. I feel that the ropes will not break any minute. I can climb as high as I want to but still feel that I am safe.
